Just found out im pregnant, around 7 weeks. Im honestly a bit scared and keep avoiding it, dont want any risk in these early days. Is it actually fine or better to wait? pls share.
Honestly, in my early stage, I was so nauseous and sleepy that sex was the last thing on my mind! But medically, it is perfectly fine if you have the energy and your doctor hasn't told you to avoid it. Just check with your gynac first so you can relax!
I totally get why you're asking this, the first trimester makes you worry about every tiny thing. Sex is usually safe, but if you are feeling anxious or have had any spotting, it's completely okay to take a break. Talk to your gynac to ease your mind, it helps so much.
For those of us who went through IVF, we are usually advised to avoid intimacy in the early weeks to prevent any risks. If your pregnancy is natural and uncomplicated, it is generally safe, but please check with your doctor first for safety.
It is generally safe in a normal pregnancy, but please listen to your body and don't push yourself if you feel tired. If you ever experience any bleeding, cramping, or severe pain after intimacy, contact your doctor immediately.
