Period 4 days late and since 2-3 days my urine smells thoda strong, not like usual. Im trying to conceive so my mind is going everywhere lol. Did this happen to anyone in early days?
Haha, honestly, pregnancy makes *everything* smell weird! Your super senses are on overdrive, so even normal things feel different. But seriously, it could just be strong pee, or maybe you're a bit dehydrated. Drink more water, ya? If it's really bothering you, obviously ask your gynac, don't let it stink up your day!
With so many hormonal changes in pregnancy, things like urine odor can change. I had thyroid issues during mine, so I was always very regular with my doctor visits. I'd suggest mentioning this to your gynac, as it can sometimes indicate a UTI, and those need to be treated properly when you're pregnant.
Hey there! Smelly urine can happen for so many reasons, pregnancy isn't the only one. After my C-section, I was so focused on recovery, but before that, I remember having some changes. Best to check for a UTI with your doctor, just to be safe. It's a common pregnancy thing if it is one.
Beta, when I was at my parents' place during my pregnancy, my mom always told me to drink lots of water. Smelly urine could be a sign of dehydration or even a mild UTI, which is common. Definitely talk to your doctor about it, they can check and tell you what's going on.
Not necessarily a sign of pregnancy alone, no. It can be dehydration or a minor infection. Best practice is to just get a quick urine test done at your next gynac visit. Don't self-diagnose based on something like this, saves time and worry.
Oh my god, I'm in my second trimester and sometimes my pee also smells really strong! I keep wondering if it's normal or something to worry about. Are others feeling this too? I haven't asked my doctor yet, but maybe I should? It's making me a bit anxious.
