Is spotting after intercourse a sign of pregnancy?
Noticed some light spotting a few hours after being intimate with my husband and now my mind is going everywhere. We are actually trying to conceive this month. Could this mean something or is it unrelated?
Light spotting after intercourse can happen for many reasons, not only pregnancy, the cervix is just sensitive. It can be implantation related too if timing fits. A test after missed period tells you clearly.
A little spotting once can be normal, but if it is repeated, heavy or with pain please get it checked with a gynac. In pregnancy any bleeding should be told to the doctor. Better safe than guessing.
I had this once early in pregnancy and panicked. Doctor said the cervix is extra sensitive now so light spotting can occur. She told me to call if it increased though.
