I've started snacking on a mix of seeds in the evening and sunflower ones are my fav. Someone in my family said to be careful with seeds during pregnancy. Are these fine to eat daily or only in small amount?
Sunflower seeds are fine in moderation, they have good nutrients and I snacked on a small handful. Just dont eat too much salted ones because of the sodium. A little as a healthy snack is good.
I added a small handful of seeds to my food, they are a nice healthy snack. Plain unsalted ones are best. Like everything, just keep the portion reasonable and you are good.
Seeds and nuts in small amounts are generally healthy, that is what my gynac said too. I had them mixed into my breakfast. Just keep it moderate and avoid the heavily salted packets.
