I keep hearing from MIL and aunties that 7th month is a risky time and i should be extra careful. Honestly its making me a bit anxious as i just entered it. Is there really something to worry about or is it just old talk?
My doc said the seventh month isnt risky by itself, but its when monitoring increases because of pre eclampsia and preterm risks. She told me the warning signs to watch, severe headache, swelling, reduced movements. If none of that, its a normal busy phase.
Its not dangerous beta, its just an important phase as the third trimester begins. Most women sail through it fine with regular checkups. Just keep up your visits, watch your BP and swelling, and report anything unusual to your doctor.
I wouldnt call it dangerous, but it is when they watch things like BP and sugar more closely. In my case my doctor caught high BP around then and managed it well. So just dont skip your appointments in this month.
