My period is not due for a few more days but ive been having way more discharge than usual lately. We are ttc so my mind is going everywhere. Can this be an early sign or am i just reading too much into it?
Mild increase is normal, but if it has a bad smell, colour change, itching or is watery and gushing, please see your gynac. Watery leaking later in pregnancy especially needs urgent attention. For normal milky discharge, dont worry too much.
I had more discharge early on and it freaked me out a bit, but my gynac said increased clear or milky discharge is common in pregnancy. Did others have this too? It is normal as long as it is not itchy or smelly she told me.
My doc said extra white milky discharge can happen due to rising hormones and increased blood flow. It can be an early sign but is not a confirmation by itself. If it turns smelly, greenish or itchy, that needs checking, otherwise it is normal.
