I was using a tretinoin cream for my acne before i found out i was pregnant. Now im panicking ki i've been applying it for weeks. Planning to ask my gynac in next visit but wanted to know if anyone here was told something about it.
I just stopped all my acne creams when I got pregnant and kept skincare very basic. Cant say medically but I didnt want to risk anything. For exact safety please ask your doctor.
I would stay away from tretinoin in pregnancy, retinoids are generally a no during this time. My dermatologist stopped all my retinol products the moment I conceived. Please ask your doctor before using any active skin treatment.
