Haldi is in literally everything we cook so i never thought about it before. But someone told me too much turmeric isnt good in pregnancy n now im confused. is normal cooking amount okay?
At home we add haldi in almost everything and it never caused any issue. My amma also gave a pinch in warm milk sometimes. Just the everyday amount na, and check with doc before any supplement.
Beta, a little haldi in your normal cooking and milk is fine, we have always used it. Just dont start taking big spoons of turmeric or supplements thinking it is medicine. Normal ghar ka khana amount is enough.
Cooking amounts of turmeric are perfectly fine, I used it daily. The thing to avoid is large supplement doses or those concentrated tablets without asking. Keep it as a regular spice and you are good.
