First time pregnant and i want to read up properly instead of just googling everything at 2am haha. Looking for some good books that actually helped you ladies. Any recommendations na?
True, 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' is really helpful. I also liked 'Nutritious Pregnancy' by Nutan Pandit, it has simple Indian dietary tips.
Mera beta ab bada ho gaya hai, par pregnancy ke time I read 'Passport to A Healthy Pregnancy' by Dr. Gita Arjun. Tab bada stress lagta tha sab text book jaise follow karne ka, par ab lagta hai natural instincts and doctor ki baatein are enough. It's a sweet read, go for it!
I really loved reading 'Pregnancy Fitness' to understand body changes. Books are great, but for prenatal yoga or even basic exercises, do it only if your gynac allows it. Safe walking and reading are perfect combos though!
Even I am trying to conceive right now and actively searching for good books to prep myself! A lot of friends suggested 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' and some basic garbhsanskar books. Let me know if you find some other good recommendations!
Honestly, 'What to Expect When You're Expecting' is a classic, but let me tell u, no book prepares u for the sleepless nights later, haha! Main toh deep sleep me book drop kar deti thi. Bas basic updates ke liye read it, baaki don't stress too much.
