Should sperm be washed after sex whilr conceiving?
We are trying to conceive and i usually go to clean up right after, but my friend said i should just lie down instead. Now im confused if washing is reducing our chances. Anyone knows the right thing to do?
I was confused about this too when we started trying. My gynac said no need to do anything special after, just relax. Felt silly asking but glad I did.
No no, dont wash inside, that can actually reduce chances. People say to just lie down for a bit after, though even that is not strictly needed. Body knows what to do, dont overthink it.
Actually avoid douching or washing internally while trying, it disturbs the natural environment. Outside cleaning is fine of course. Timing around ovulation matters far more than this.
