Suddenly I feel so hot out of nowhere even when the fan is on, and then it passes. Im only like 7 weeks. Is this what people call hot flashes, anyone else felt this so early?
Yeah hot flashes are common early on because hormones and blood volume go up. Wear loose breathable clothes, keep water near you, sip when it hits. If you also get high fever or feel dizzy though, thats different, then check with doctor.
Oh those sudden waves of heat where you feel like a walking heater? Had them double with twins lol. Its just hormones and extra blood flow making you feel warm out of nowhere. Light cotton clothes and a hand fan became my best friends.
I felt them too in my early weeks, suddenly hot and a bit sweaty even in AC. I got worried first but my mom said its normal hormone changes. It passed in few seconds each time.
Just one thing, if hot flashes feel very frequent with racing heart or weight changes, get your thyroid checked. Mine acted up in pregnancy. Otherwise occasional warmth is just normal hormonal stuff, dont stress.
