Im running to the washroom like every hour, even waking up 3-4 times at night, its exhausting. Im around 6 months now. Why does this happen so much, is it the baby pressing or something else?
This was annoying at work honestly, constant trips. It's normal from the pressure on the bladder. I just sat near the washroom and kept drinking water in the day, cut down a bit at night to sleep better.
My gynac explained it's a mix of hormones, increased blood volume and later the uterus pressing on the bladder. One thing she warned, if u feel burning or pain while peeing, get checked for infection, that's not just normal frequency.
It's mostly the growing uterus pressing on ur bladder plus extra blood flow making ur kidneys work more. Totally normal, especially early and late pregnancy. Dont cut water though, just plan ur bathroom trips.
Frequent peeing itself is normal, but I'll add, if it comes with burning, fever or back pain please dont ignore it. I had a UTI in pregnancy and it needed treatment. Otherwise the usual frequency is just baby pressing down.
Omg I'm running to the loo every hour and at night it's the worst. My doc said it's normal from hormones and the baby pressing on the bladder. Anyone else barely sleeping because of this?
