Doc mentioned the word inflammation at my last visit and I forgot to ask her properly what causes it. Now im at home overthinking it. Can someone explain in simple words?
Yaar, inflammation can happen for so many reasons in pregnancy. Sometimes it's just your body holding water, or maybe you're standing too much. Try to elevate your feet, drink plenty of water, and avoid salty foods. If it's pain or unusual swelling, then it's a doc visit for sure.
After my C-section, I learned a lot about inflammation and recovery. During pregnancy, your body is working so hard, expanding, retaining fluid. Sometimes it's just natural, like swollen feet. But if you feel a lot of pain or fever, pls consult your doc. Gentle movements and rest helped me.
I totally freaked out when my feet started swelling like balloons in my third trimester, thinking something was terribly wrong! But my gynac said minor inflammation and swelling are quite normal. Still, it's always good to mention any new or concerning inflammation to your doctor, just to be on the safe side, okay?
Oh, inflammation is a big topic, especially ghar pe. My saas ji used to say it's just 'body ki garmi' sometimes. But actually, pregnancy itself causes some changes. Hydration, good sleep, and avoiding too much processed food can help. If it's severe, your gynac will know what to do.
Uff, inflammation can be so uncomfortable, right? I had terrible morning sickness and felt so much body discomfort. Sometimes it's normal swelling, other times it can be due to diet or even stress. Try to eat anti-inflammatory foods like turmeric, ginger, and green leafy veggies. But for specific concerns, your gynac is the best person to ask.
Inflammation can be a sign of different things, and some tests might be needed to understand why. My gynac always emphasized paying attention to symptoms because tests can get expensive if issues escalate later. Make sure you're doing all your routine checkups and blood tests, they catch a lot of things early.
