Ah, the pregnancy superpower of growing extra feet! Just kidding, it's totally normal. Your body is basically a human water balloon, retaining fluid and increasing blood volume. Oh, swelling! Ho na, it happens to so many pregnant ladies, especially in the later months. It's mostly because your body is holding more fluid and your blood volume increases. Thoda pair upar rakh ke baitho, it helps. But agar sudden ya bahut zyada swelling ho, toh doctor ko consult karna chahiye.
I was always a bit more cautious during my pregnancy due to my PCOS. Swelling can happen, and it's generally due to fluid retention and circulation changes. Gentle exercises and elevating your legs can offer some relief. But if you notice severe, sudden swelling, especially with headaches or vision changes, please call your doctor immediately. Better to be safe.
Pregnancy comes with so many changes, and swelling can be one of them, which can be a bit uncomfortable. It's often due to your body retaining more fluid to support your baby. Resting and staying hydrated often helps. Just remember to mention it to your doctor at your next visit, especially if it feels sudden or very pronounced.
Swelling in hands and feet is common during pregnancy, often due to increased blood volume and fluid retention. My doctor advised me to rest with my feet elevated and stay hydrated. However, it's crucial to report any sudden or excessive swelling to your obstetrician, as it can sometimes be a sign of something more serious like preeclampsia.
