this is our first time trying and i honestly dont know much about the early process. like what actually goes on in the body in those first days after conceiving, before u even get a positive test? curious to understand it better.
When I conceived I didnt feel anything for first weeks honestly. Then slowly I felt so tired, my breasts got sore and I missed my period. It felt surreal when the test showed two lines, I just cried.
My doc explained that after the egg fertilises it travels and implants in the uterus, and thats when hcg hormone starts rising. Thats why home tests work after a missed period. Early signs are tiredness, nausea, sore breasts, frequent peeing, but everyone is different.
For me the first sign was just feeling very sleepy all the time and food smells bothering me. My mother noticed before I did honestly. After the test came positive we went to the doctor to confirm and start the iron and folic acid.
After conceiving the body slowly starts changing, missed period, tiredness, tender breasts, maybe some nausea. Dont compare with others, some feel a lot and some feel nothing. Just confirm with a test and meet your doctor.
I am 5 weeks now and for me it started with extreme sleepiness and a weird metallic taste. Anyone else got that taste thing early? It came even before my nausea started.
First thing, period stops. Then hormones kick in, you feel tired, moody, maybe nausea. Take a test after missed period, confirm with a blood test or scan, start folic acid and book your gynac. Thats the basic order.
