What happens when you skip meals during pregnancy?
Some mornings the nausea is so bad that i just cant eat and end up skipping breakfast. Im 8 weeks. Does missing meals affect the baby? feeling a bit guilty about it.
Skipping meals can drop your sugar and make you dizzy and weak, which isnt great for you or baby. With my sugar issues my doctor told me to eat small meals often instead of skipping. Try to keep something light handy always.
When nausea made me skip meals I'd feel even more sick and shaky, empty stomach made it worse honestly. Eating little little through the day helped way more than big meals. Even a few bites count yaar.
I know it's easy to skip when you're busy, I did it some days, but I'd get headaches and zero energy. Now I keep nuts, fruit and biscuits at my desk so I never go empty. Small fix, big difference.
Skipping leads to low energy, dizziness and sometimes acidity from empty stomach. Baby keeps drawing nutrients so you end up more drained. Better to do frequent small meals than skip, simple as that.
