Im 7 months and usually i feel kicks in the evening but today its been quiet and im getting a bit anxious yaar. Planning to call my doctor but just wanted to hear how others handled this.
I used to panic every time my baby was still for a bit. The kick count trick helped me, lie on your side after a meal and count. If it is really less than usual though, please call ur doctor, this is the one thing worth being cautious about.
Reduced baby movement is one thing u should never ignore once movements have started. If you notice the baby is much quieter than usual, have something to eat or drink, lie down and count, and if still less, go to the doctor immediately. I was told this very firmly by my gynac.
Beta, in early months you may not feel much at all, that is normal. But once movements are regular, any noticeable drop means call ur doctor without delay. Dont take chances with this one, okay.
Babies do have quieter and active times, so dont panic at one calm hour. But if you genuinely feel movements have dropped, dont wait at home, get to ur gynac or hospital for monitoring. It is always better to be checked.
