First pregnancy and im getting so much gyaan from everyone about what not to eat, papaya, pineapple, this that. Want to know what indian foods u all actually avoided. Pls share ur list, im confused.
It was so hard for me to avoid street food, but my doctor strictly said no to raw eggs in cakes, half-cooked meats, and raw papaya. I satisfied my cravings with hot, freshly made ghar ka snacks instead!
Mainly avoid raw papaya and pineapple as they contain enzymes that might trigger contractions. Also, skip street foods like dahi puri to prevent stomach infections, and stick to fully cooked meals.
I remember being so scared of eating anything in my first trimester. Just avoid raw papaya and unpasteurized milk or paneer. My little one is 2 now, and honestly, eating normal homemade food is the safest.
Beta, just stay away from half-cooked eggs, raw papaya, and heavy Chinese food with ajinomoto. Focus on fresh ghar ka khana and you and your baby will be completely fine.
