My doctor mentioned something about cpd during my last visit and honestly i got nervous and forgot to ask properly. Im 34 weeks now. Can someone explain in simple words what it means, will it affect normal delivery?
I had a C section partly because of this, the baby just wasnt fitting through. It sounds scary but the surgery went smoothly and recovery was okay with rest. Trust your doctors call on this, they know best.
CPD means cephalopelvic disproportion, basically when the babys head is too big for the moms pelvis. My doctor explained it can be a reason for a planned C section. They usually assess it near the due date, so let your gynac guide you on it.
