My report mentioned fetal cardiac activity present and i didnt want to sound silly asking the doc what it means. Im 8 weeks. Can someone explain it in simple words pls.
In my IVF journey, that first scan showing cardiac activity was the most emotional moment. It is the confirmation that the heart has started beating. Sending you good wishes, whatever stage you are at.
It means the baby's heart beating, which the scan picks up usually around 6 to 7 weeks. My doctor said it is a very good sign that the pregnancy is progressing well. Seeing that little flutter on screen made me cry.
