Went for my scan yesterday and the report mentioned baby's head is floating. I'm 32 weeks now and got a little tension reading that. Matlab what does it actually mean, anyone knows?
In my case, baby's head remained floating till the end, so we had to plan a C-section. Please discuss this with your gynac as they can guide you best based on your pelvic size.
My baby's head was floating around week 36, so my doc allowed me to do gentle prenatal yoga and squats to help engagement. Only do these exercises if your gynac gives the green light!
During my 38th week, the doctor mentioned my baby's head was still floating. It engaged naturally just a few days before my labor started, so that was my experience.
Beta, it means the baby's head is not fixed in the pelvic bones yet. Walk slowly and do light household chores if your body allows, it helps baby move down naturally.
I know hearing these terms from doctor can feel so scary and stressful. But floating head just means the baby is still moving around and hasn't settled down for birth yet, which is very common.
Actually yaar, it simply means baby's head hasn't descended or engaged into your pelvis yet. My doc told me this during my 37th week checkup, totally normal.
I am learning so much from you all here. From what my sister told me, floating head is just a stage before the baby drops down, nothing to worry about.
It just means baby ka head is still high up and not fixed in the pelvis yet, completely normal in late pregnancy. Gynac will check this towards the end, tension mat lo.
