I had a blood pressure check recently and want to understand the numbers better. What is considered the normal or high blood pressure range when you are pregnant?
Usually 140/90 and above is high. While keeping calm and drinking coconut water helps, high BP is serious during pregnancy, so please call your doctor right away.
I know how scary it is to see the BP numbers go up, my anxiety made it even worse! If it's crossing 140/90, please don't panic but definitely contact your doctor or visit the clinic to be safe.
A reading of 140/90 mmHg or higher is generally classified as gestational hypertension. Please don't rely on home remedies for this; get in touch with your gynac as they might need to monitor you closely.
