I keep seeing this word everywhere on the trying to conceive groups but honestly i dont fully get what it means. Can someone explain in simple words? Trying to understand my own cycle better.
I learnt this while we were trying. It's the stage where the embryo settles into the womb wall, and only after that the pregnancy hormone starts rising. That's why home tests work only a few days after, because it needs implantation to happen first.
Simply put, it's when the baby seed sticks to the wall of the womb, beta. Once that happens, pregnancy is on its way. Nothing u need to do for it, body manages on its own.
Implantation is basically when the fertilised egg attaches itself to the lining of the uterus, my doctor explained it happens around a week after conception. Some women get a little light spotting at that time called implantation bleeding. After that the pregnancy starts properly developing.
My tracking app explained it nicely, it's when the little embryo burrows into the uterus lining. Some feel mild cramps or see tiny spotting around then. If u test too early before implantation u get a false negative, that's the trick.
