Heard this word from my gynac and didnt fully understand it na. Noticing some white discharge these days and just want to know if its the same thing. Is it normal or should i worry?
It's thin, white, milky discharge. My gynac explained that estrogen levels increase during pregnancy which causes this to prevent any bacteria from travelling up to the womb. If it turns green, itchy, or smells bad, then it could be an infection that needs immediate attention.
My mother told me it's just the body's natural way of cleaning and preventing infections. But just to be completely sure, I asked my doctor during my scan. She said as long as there is no itching or bad smell, it is completely normal.
Oh, I remember being so scared when I first noticed this during my pregnancy, I thought something was wrong. But it is just your body protecting your sweet little baby from infections. You are doing great, please don't worry.
My little one is 2 years old now, but I still remember googling this term in panic! It's just normal white discharge and it's actually very common. It completely stops after delivery so don't stress.
It's basically the medical term for normal vaginal discharge. I remember calling my hospital's maternity care coordinator immediately when I noticed it, and they explained it's harmless. Definitely check with your hospital staff if you notice any unusual color or odor.
Since I had thyroid issues, I was always visiting my clinic every month anyway, so I asked about this discharge. My doctor said it's normal but always keep track of any changes during your regular follow-ups. Just mention it to your gynac on your next visit.
I am in my 6th month and facing this white watery discharge constantly, it's so annoying. Is it supposed to increase as the weeks go by? I have to change my panty liners twice a day now.
Arre, don't stress too much about it! It's just normal white discharge that almost every pregnant woman gets. Just keep the area dry and clean, and chill out.
It is just normal white discharge that happens due to increased blood flow and hormones. Just wear comfortable cotton panties and you will be fine, take care.
