My doc wrote mobile head in my last scan report and i didnt ask her properly at that time. Im 32 weeks now. Matlab is it a good thing or something to worry? Anyone understands this term?
When my doctor first told me the head was mobile at 35 weeks, I felt a bit anxious because I thought the baby should be locked in by then. But then I felt relieved when she explained it's completely safe and normal. It just takes its own time to drop down.
It's nothing to worry about! My baby's head was mobile till the very end, and I still had a smooth normal delivery. The head can engage even when your actual labor pains start, so stay active and positive.
Hey, don't stress too much about this term! It basically means your baby's head is in the down position but hasn't fixed itself deep in the pelvis yet. It's totally normal, especially if it's not your first baby, so relax!
During my checkup in the 36th week, my gynac wrote 'mobile head' on the file. She told me it's normal and simply means the baby's head is down but can still move around. For me, the baby finally engaged just a few days before my labor started.
Currently in my 38th week and my baby's head is still 'mobile', basically enjoying a free swim in my uterus! It just means the head hasn't locked into the pelvis yet. I guess my little one is just procrastinating, just like its mother, haha!
I am only in my second trimester, but reading about 'mobile head' makes me a bit nervous. Is it something that happens to everyone in the third trimester? Would love to know if others also had this in their reports.
