Saw the word OS written on my scan report and doc said something quickly which i didnt fully catch. Im 7 months. Can someone explain in simple words what OS means? Dont want to google and panic.
Beta, yeh sab medical terms hain jo doctors use karte hain. Aapko ismein bahut zyada dimaag lagane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Jo bhi aapki gynac bataye, bas us par dhyaan do aur positive raho. Bhagwan ki kripa se sab theek hoga.
OS? Is that like when your brain just stops working and you need a new operating system? 😂 Kidding! Honestly, I remember seeing it on some reports too but I mostly relied on my doctor to explain everything. Probably something about the cervix or opening down there, right?
I vaguely remember my gynac mentioning "OS" once while explaining my cervix. From what I understood, it refers to the opening of the cervix, like the internal or external os. It's a medical term. If you're concerned about it, you should definitely ask your doctor to explain it to you properly.
Oh, I've seen that term on ultrasound reports sometimes! I always wondered what it meant. Is it like related to the cervix opening or something? It sounds very clinical, and sometimes these terms just add to the anxiety when you're trying to understand everything.
I've seen the term "OS" on some of my ultrasound reports, but I never quite understood the detailed medical meaning. My doctor always explained what was relevant to my condition in simpler terms. It's best to ask your own healthcare provider to clarify any medical terms for you.
