I heard this term in a video and felt confused because they were using it in a serious way. I am trying to understand pregnancy terms properly without judgement. What does it actually refer to?
It just means getting pregnant before marriage, thats the whole meaning. Medically it is the exact same pregnancy as any other, the body doesnt know the difference. Whatever the situation, getting proper antenatal care is what matters.
Premarital simply means before marriage. There is nothing different about the pregnancy itself. If this is someones situation, the important thing is to see a gynac early and start the checkups, no judgement here beta.
Its a term for conceiving before being married, more of a social phrase than a medical one. From a health side, the care is identical, early scans, folic acid, regular visits. Best to consult a doctor like in any pregnancy.
