What is right size of follicle rupture to conceive?
Im doing follicular study this cycle and the doc keeps checking the size every few days. Honestly im not sure at what size it ruptures and gives the best chance. Anyone who conceived through this, what size was yours?
I don't want to give any medical numbers as everyone's body is different. Personally, during my follicular study, my doctor told me my follicle had reached the right size of 21mm before rupturing, and that worked for us.
Let me tell you clearly: 18 to 24 mm is the normal range they look for in scans. If your scan shows this, you are good to go, so don't overthink and just follow your doctor's timeline.
Haha, I remember tracking those millimetres like my life depended on it, though now I can barely track where I kept my baby's pacifier! Usually, doctors look for around 18 to 24 mm before it ruptures.
In my scans, my doctor told me that a follicle size of 20mm is perfect for rupture. I conceived in that same cycle, so yes, anything between 18-24mm is usually the sweet spot.
Since I have PCOS, my follicle growth was always slow and my doctor kept a close watch. Usually, 18-24 mm is the ideal size for a healthy rupture, but don't lose hope if it takes a bit of time or medication to get there.
I am in my second trimester now, but I remember being so anxious about follicle sizes of 18mm and wondering if it's too small. Did any of you also have successful pregnancies with slightly smaller or larger sizes?
Haan yaar, general standard toh 18 se 24 mm hota hai na. But don't stress about the numbers too much, just trust your gynac and they will tell you the exact right time to try.
