What is the normal position of placenta during pregnancy?
Had my scan yesterday and the report mentioned placenta position but I didnt fully understand what counts as normal na. Im 20 weeks and just curious where it usually sits. Anyone know thoda about this?
Arey don't take stress about placenta position at all, normal is either anterior or posterior. My son is a super active toddler now and my placenta was low in the first trimester but then it moved up automatically by 7th month. Just eat well, listen to your doc and let the body do its thing.
Mere pregnancy ke time jab mai mummy ke ghar thi, my doctor told me that anterior or posterior both are very normal positions. Posterior is usually preferred but anterior is also totally fine, bas kick movement thoda late feel hoti hai. Mummy used to say baby safe hona chahiye bas, baki position automatic settle ho jati hai, so chill.
Mujhe jyada experience toh nahi hai since we are just trying now, but recently my elder sister told me that posterior is considered very standard. It sits at the back wall of uterus. Hope everything is perfect with your scans, sending u lots of good wishes!
Usually placenta posterior ya anterior position me normal hota hai. Mere case me anterior placenta tha, par my doctor allowed me to continue mild prenatal yoga and walking normally so I didn't stress. Agar low lying or praevia ho tab extreme care leni padti hai, so better consult your doctor first before starting any exercise.
Stay positive, everything happens by God's grace. Normal placenta posterior or anterior hota hai, bas low lying na ho toh badhiya. Take good care of your health, eat well, and pray. Your baby will be perfectly healthy, just trust the process.
I totally understand how every little detail in the ultrasound report makes us so anxious, sweetheart. Usually, posterior placenta is considered normal but anterior is also absolutely okay, baby is very safe inside. Just look at your scans with love, you are doing amazing!
