Got my TSH report and the number is bothering me a little. Doc said its fine but i want to understand what range is actually normal in pregnancy. Mine is different from pre pregnancy values na. anyone know?
I totally understand how scary it feels when you see a weird number on your lab report, I was crying too. But please know that thyroid is very manageable and your doctor will guide you perfectly to keep your little baby safe.
The normal range is usually lower than normal times, typically below 2.5 or 3.0 in the first trimester, but it depends on the lab. Always get your reports checked by your doctor.
My endocrinologist at Apollo told me that pregnancy-specific ranges for TSH are different for each trimester. Usually, they prefer keeping it under 2.5 in the first trimester. Please show your report directly to your hospital staff or gynac for the correct dosage.
Don't worry too much! Thyroid issues are super common in pregnancy and can be easily controlled with a tiny tablet every morning. Just share the reports with your doctor and stay happy! 🌸
Beta, pregnancy me thyroid thoda upar neeche hota hi hai, chinta mat karo. Doctor ki di hui goli subah khali pet niyam se lo aur haldi wala doodh ya thoda sa nariyal pani piya karo. Lekin dawa khud se band mat karna kabhi.
