We just started trying and honestly i dont fully understand how it all happens step by step, from conception onwards. Can someone explain in simple words?
We are planning so I read up on this too. Basically egg meets sperm around ovulation, then it settles in the uterus. Felt nice to finally understand it properly.
In simple words, the egg releases, gets fertilised, travels and implants, and then baby grows over 9 months. Your gynac will track it stage by stage with scans. Nothing for you to memorise, just go for your checkups.
Roughly it goes ovulation, fertilisation, then the embryo implants in the uterus, and hcg starts rising which is what the test picks up. My doctor drew it out for me on paper. After that it's the three trimesters till delivery.
