Belly is showing now and sleeping has become so uncomfortable. I usually sleep on my back but somebody said thats not good. Left side, right side, im confused. What do u all do?
During my pregnancy, I found sleeping on my side with a pillow between my knees really helped. After my C-section, it was even more crucial to be careful. The nurses advised sleeping slightly propped up or on your side with support for your incision. It's all about comfort and not putting pressure on your abdomen, both during and after.
Oh god, this is my biggest challenge right now! My gynac also told me to sleep on my left side, especially as the bump gets bigger. But I keep waking up on my back or right side. Does anyone else struggle with this? What helps you stay on your left?
Oh, I remember how hard it was to find a comfy position! My doctor told me left side is best, and I really tried. I felt so much pressure on my back if I lay flat. A big pregnancy pillow was my absolute lifesaver. It just made me feel so much more supported and less anxious about the baby.
Hey girl! Honestly, everyone says left side sleeping is best because of blood flow. But mere saath toh it was impossible to stay in one position all night. Just try to make yourself comfortable, maybe with a pregnancy pillow. Don't stress too much if you turn a bit, just mostly try for your left.
The safest position generally recommended by doctors is on your left side, especially in the later trimesters. This helps with blood flow to the baby and your kidneys. But please, always confirm with your own gynac for personalized advice, as every pregnancy is different. Don't take any chances.
