Me and my husband are planning to start trying soon but im confused about the right age and timing. I just turned 31 and people keep saying dont wait too long. Curious what others think is the ideal time.
We are also planning and I had the same doubt. My friend said dont overthink the age, just get your basic tests done before trying. That gave me some peace honestly.
Dont put too much pressure on a number. When you feel mentally and physically ready and your health is good, thats your time. A pre conception checkup is the smartest first step.
I had PCOS so for me it wasnt just about age, it was about getting cycles in order first. If you have any such condition I'd say start the conversation with a doctor early. Everyone's suitable time is a bit different na.
Honestly there is no perfect age, but doctors usually say 20s to early 30s is when the body handles it most easily. After 35 it can still be totally fine, just a bit more monitoring. Best to do a pre pregnancy checkup and ask your gynac whats right for your body.
From a practical side, think about whether you and partner feel ready, finances, leave at work etc. Biology wise younger is a bit easier but plenty of us had healthy babies in our 30s. A quick gynac consult will tell you your own picture.
Beta in our time everyone said early is better, but now girls are settling careers first and thats okay too. Just eat well, stay healthy and once you decide, see a good doctor for guidance. No rush, har cheez ka apna time hota hai.
