Sorry if this sounds basic, newly married and just started this journey. People keep using the word conceived and i get confused if its same as being pregnant or different thing. can someone explain in simple words?
Haha, okay so conceived is basically when your little tenant officially moved in! 🏡 And pregnancy is the whole nine-month renovation project happening inside you until they're ready for their grand unveiling! 😉 Simple as that! Congrats if you're expecting!
Conceived means fertilization has occurred, as in, sperm has met egg and formed an embryo. Pregnancy is the subsequent state of carrying that embryo/fetus to term. So conception is the event, pregnancy is the duration. Pretty straightforward.
Hi there! 'Conceived' means when the sperm fertilizes the egg, and the pregnancy officially begins. It's the moment your baby starts forming. 'Pregnancy' is the entire period from conception until birth, usually about 9 months, where the baby grows and develops inside your womb. Basically, conception is the start, and pregnancy is the journey! Hope that helps!
Oh, when I first found out I was pregnant, I also had so many questions about all these terms! I think 'conceived' is when the baby actually started, like when the egg and sperm met. And 'pregnancy' is the whole time you're carrying the baby. It's a lot to learn, right? Did anyone else feel a bit overwhelmed with all the new words?
