What kind of discharge is normal in early pregnancy?
I am 8 weeks and seeing creamy white discharge on most days. There is no bad smell but I still worry if it is okay. What type of discharge did you have early on?
Whitish odourless discharge is usually the normal type. But please be careful, if you ever see brown, pink or red, or there is itching, burning or bad smell, dont wait at home, call your gynac. I learnt this the cautious way.
Im 7 weeks and noticing more white discharge than usual, so reading this is comforting. So thin and white means okay right? I just wanted to be sure before my next visit.
Clear or milky white is the regular one and it actually increases in pregnancy, dont get scared. Just wear cotton and keep that area dry. Anything green, yellow or with smell, get it checked, otherwise its just hormones doing their thing.
I remember panicking about this in my early weeks. For me it was milky white, thin and without smell. I felt so scared but my gynac said its very normal in pregnancy. It only worried me later if there was any color or itching.
Dont worry beta, light white discharge is your body keeping things clean down there during pregnancy. Just keep an eye on color and smell, and tell your doctor if it changes. Otherwise its all fine.
