Just got my positive test and everyone at home is giving me different lists of foods to avoid, totally confused now. Want a clear idea of what to actually stay away from. Pls share what you avoided.
Stay away from outside cut fruit, raw papaya, too much caffeine and street ka cold food in summer. Both times I just kept it simple home food and avoided uncooked things. Rest you can mostly eat.
My doctor's list was raw or undercooked egg and meat, unpasteurised milk and soft cheese, raw papaya and too much pineapple, raw sprouts, and limit caffeine. Also fish high in mercury. Basically avoid raw and unhygienic stuff, that's the main thing.
Honestly the easy rule I followed, no outside raw food, no cut fruits from thela, cook everything well. Saves money and keeps you safe both. Avoid extra caffeine and that's mostly it.
Elders always say no to raw papaya and pineapple in early months. I followed that na, no harm in being careful. But for anything serious always check with your lady doctor too.
Avoid raw and stale food mainly. My family told me skip papaya and I did. My doctor added to be careful with too much tea coffee. Otherwise normal balanced food is fine.
