This is my first pregnancy and everyone is giving a long list of don'ts, many of them sounding like myths. I am getting confused about what is actually important. What did your doctor tell you to avoid?
Few basics from my side, no smoking or alcohol, no raw or half cooked food, no heavy lifting, and dont take any medicine without doctor. Otherwise live normally, eat well and walk. Dont turn pregnancy into a cage.
Practically, dont skip meals or sit too long at desk, dont stress over work, and dont lift heavy boxes. I took small walks and breaks. Manage rest properly, that mattered more than long lists of dont's.
Honestly yaar dont stress too much, that's the biggest one. Skip the alcohol, smoking, raw food, super heavy lifting. Rest of the time just relax, eat your favourites in limit and enjoy it.
Dont stress, dont overthink, and dont skip your checkups, those are my top three honestly. Avoid the obvious stuff like alcohol, smoking, raw food. Otherwise enjoy this time, it goes fast.
I avoided junk, raw stuff, and too much caffeine. Stuck to ghar ka khana mostly. But I never tried random home remedies for serious things, for any bleeding, pain or fever I went straight to doctor. Thats the line I kept.
Big one for me, dont ignore warning signs. Bleeding, severe pain, less baby movement, swelling, high fever, dont wait on these, call your doctor right away. Also no self medication. Rest, eat clean and keep your appointments.
Beta avoid too much papaya and pineapple in early months, our elders always said so. Heavy work and stress mat lo. And don't believe every random tip, for anything serious puchho doctor se.
