What to eat at night when hungry during pregnancy?
Second trimester and i wake up at 2am super hungry almost daily. I just grab biscuits but that cant be good na. What do u all eat at night that is healthy and quick? give me some ideas pls.
It's totally normal to feel hungry at night during pregnancy, don't worry about it! Your body is working hard. Try to keep some healthy snacks handy, like a handful of almonds, some fruit, or even a small bowl of dahi. Just make sure it's not too heavy or sugary so it doesn't cause heartburn or disturb sleep later.
Oh god, the hunger pangs were real, especially with two little ones growing inside! I always kept a banana or some digestive biscuits next to my bed. Sometimes a glass of milk with a date helped too. Anything quick, easy, and not requiring you to cook a full meal at 2 AM, trust me!
This is a really important question, especially for women like me who developed gestational diabetes. Always choose something low in sugar and balanced. A handful of nuts, a small apple with peanut butter, or some boiled chana are good options. Avoid anything too sweet or processed. Talk to your doctor or a nutritionist if you have specific concerns about your diet.
Oh, this is such a good question! I'm planning pregnancy and already worried about midnight hunger. I've heard things like a small bowl of poha or some sprouts can be good, but maybe a banana is easier? What did everyone else find most helpful and easy to grab?
Honestly, anything you can get your hands on that doesn't require cooking! Kidding, but not really. A banana, some makhana, or a small bowl of cereal were my go-tos. Sometimes I just stared blankly into the fridge for 5 minutes. Try to make it something healthy, but don't beat yourself up if it's just a biscuit sometimes, you're growing a human!
