What to eat to increase amniotic fluid during pregnancy?
My scan showed fluid on the lower side and my gynac asked me to come for follow up. I am trying not to panic but I keep thinking about food and water, haan. What did others eat or drink when fluid was low?
Girl, if drinking more water would magically fix everything, I'd be floating by now! Honestly, I just keep chugging water, lassi, fresh juices, whatever I can get my hands on. My bladder is basically my new best friend. My doc just said 'hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!' and some specific foods like watermelon are good.
Uhm, I'm not pregnant yet, but this sounds like a really important topic. I'm trying to learn everything for future. Is it mostly about staying hydrated, or are there specific foods that really make a difference? Just asking for general knowledge.
I remember this worry so clearly! My doctor just told me to drink tons of water, like seriously, constant hydration. And coconut water was my best friend. My baby is a chunky toddler now, so it definitely helped. Don't stress too much, just keep sipping!
Beta, always remember, with God's grace, everything will be alright. Just keep yourself hydrated and eat healthy home-cooked food. Try to stay positive and stress-free, that's important for you and the baby. And follow whatever your doctor advises.
Oh, I was just thinking about this! My gynac also mentioned my fluid levels were a bit on the lower side last scan. Did anyone's doctor suggest specific fruits or vegetables, apart from just water? I'm trying to drink a lot but still worried.
