What type of discharge is normal during early pregnancy?
Im around 6 weeks and noticing more whitish discharge than usual. Nothing painful or smelly but it made me a little anxious. Just want to know whats considered normal at this stage.
I noticed a lot more white discharge recently and got a bit anxious. Did others also have it increase? It freaked me out at first but reading here makes me feel a little better.
My gynac told me a thin, milky white discharge with mild smell is normal in early pregnancy, its called leukorrhea. What is not normal is green, yellow, foul smelling or with itching or blood. If you notice those, get checked.
Dont panic about it dear, a bit more white discharge is your body just doing its thing in pregnancy. Keep yourself clean and dry and wear cotton. Only if something feels off like smell or itching, then get it looked at.
Whitish, watery and odourless discharge is totally normal and it often increases in pregnancy. Just use cotton underwear and dont use any soaps inside. But if it itches, burns or smells bad, thats an infection, see the doctor.
Clear or milky white is generally fine. But please be alert, if you ever see brownish or pink discharge or any bleeding, dont wait, call your gynac. In my case spotting needed checking, so I always say better safe.
