This is my first time and I genuinely dont understand how the whole thing works month by month, what happens when. Feeling a bit lost honestly. Can someone explain it simply or share how it went for u?
I am learning all this right now too, it is so much to take in haha. The trimester breakdown helped me a lot. Anyone have a favourite app or book that explained it simply?
Broadly the egg gets fertilised, implants in the uterus, and then grows over about 40 weeks split into three trimesters. Each trimester has its own milestones for the baby and your body. Your gynac and a good pregnancy app will walk you through week by week, it is fascinating honestly.
There is plenty of good reading on the stages, but the best guide is your own doctor since they track your specific progress. Ask them to explain what to expect each trimester. That kept me grounded instead of googling everything.
I learnt the whole journey through a week by week app, it explains what is developing at each stage. Super helpful to understand the process without medical jargon. Pair that with your doctor visits and you will feel clued in.
