The baby actually starts growing from the very first day of conception, even when they are just a tiny group of cells! It is such a beautiful, magical process. Your body is doing something amazing, please give yourself lots of love.
In the first trimester, the growth is mostly internal, but around the 4th month is when you actually start seeing the baby bump. My mother and MIL both told me to start eating more nutritious food from the second trimester because that's when the baby really starts gaining weight.
Actually yaar, real visible growth starts after the 12th week scan. In the first trimester, the baby is just the size of a tiny grape, but after week 20, they grow super fast! So don't worry if your bump isn't showing yet, it takes time.
Haha, technically they start growing immediately, but you won't see any proof until week 16 or 20 when you suddenly look like you ate a whole watermelon! Till then, it's just bloating and gas playing mind games with you. Enjoy the bhatura phase!
