I keep talking and playing soft music for my baccha and my husband laughs at me lol. Im 5 months now. Just curious from which week the baby actually starts hearing us? Anyone knows?
Around 24 weeks, the baby's hearing becomes very active. When I was staying at my parents' house, my mom used to sit next to me and sing sweet old bhajans. The baby would actually kick in response, it was the most beautiful family memory!
It's amazing that by the 6th month, baby can hear outside sounds clearly. I used to play soft instrumental music and talk to my baby daily, which kept me positive too. It really helps in bonding after delivery!
From the 5th month onwards, the baby's ears develop well. Try to listen to peaceful mantras, positive chants, or spiritual stories. It brings positive energy to the baby and keeps you calm as well.
The baby's hearing starts developing around the 18th to 20th week. I used to listen to calm music while doing my light walking and prenatal yoga sessions, which my doctor had permitted. It was such a peaceful way to connect with my little one!
By 20-22 weeks, they can definitely hear your heartbeat and your voice. I used to read stories aloud to my bump, and even now, my breastfed baby gets so calmed by the same stories. Start talking to your baby from the second trimester!
Hey, babies start hearing around the 5th month! So you can start talking to your belly and even play your favorite songs. Don't stress too much about what you say, just talk normally, they love the sound of your voice!
