I got a faint positive last week and then my period came few days later. My friend said it might be a chemical pregnancy but honestly I dont fully understand what that means or at what stage it happens. Can someone explain?
My doctor explained a chemical pregnancy happens very early, usually around the time your period is due, just after implantation. The test may show positive briefly and then the period comes. She said it is common and usually not your fault at all.
I went through this and it was emotionally hard even though it was early. It happens in the first few weeks, sometimes before you even know properly. Please be gentle with yourself and talk to your doctor, it really helped me to understand it.
