Im in my second trimester and got really curious about when the baby's brain actually starts forming. I keep reading about brain foods and want to understand the timing of it. Anyone know which weeks matter most?
My pregnancy app had these weekly updates showing brain development, it was fascinating to follow. The early weeks for the neural tube and the later weeks for growth. It made me appreciate why omega 3 and folic acid were recommended.
My gynac told me the baby's brain starts developing really early, the neural tube forms in the first few weeks, which is exactly why folic acid early on matters so much. It then keeps developing throughout pregnancy, especially in the third trimester. So starting folic acid even before conceiving is ideal.
I just focused on staying calm, eating well and positive thoughts through it all. The little one's brain growing inside is such a miracle honestly. Take your supplements and stay peaceful, it all matters.
