Im in my third trimester and noticed a tiny bit of leaking from one side. Got a little surprised, didnt expect it this early. Around which week does this usually start for everyone?
My gynac told me colostrum production can begin around the second trimester but most women only see it in the last weeks. She said not everyone leaks before birth and that is completely normal too. So no need to compare with others.
I am in my fifth month and noticed a tiny bit of yellow stuff, got a little worried. Did anyone else have it this early? Reading here makes me feel better honestly.
For me the colostrum started leaking a little around the third trimester, maybe seventh month. It is that thick yellowish first milk and it is so good for the baby. Dont worry if it comes earlier or later, every body is different.
Dont stress about the timing dear, it differs for everyone. Some see it weeks before, some only when baby is born. Your body knows what to do when the time comes.
It can start anytime in the second half, some women notice it around 16 weeks, some only after delivery. Both my pregnancies were different actually. As long as baby gets it after birth that is what matters.
I had a c-section and my colostrum came right after delivery, didnt notice anything during pregnancy. The nurses helped me latch baby for that first feed. So even if you dont see it now, it will be there when needed.
