Im 10 weeks and this nausea is honestly draining me, cant eat anything properly and feel sick whole din. I just want to know roughly when it gets better so i have something to look forward to. Pls tell me it ends soon yaar.
Most women see a major drop in nausea around the 12th to 14th week as the placenta takes over hormone production. If it continues past the fourth month or you can't keep any fluids down, definitely talk to your gynac. Otherwise, dry crackers and small meals will help you get through it.
Listen to me, don't lose heart, this is just a temporary phase. Usually, by the 14th week, your body adjusts to the hormones and the nausea clears up completely. Till then, take plenty of rest and don't force yourself to eat heavy meals.
With my twins, the double dose of hormones kept me nauseous well into the second trimester, around week 16! But for a single pregnancy, it usually packs up its bags by week 12. Just keep some dry toast handy and hang tight.
I felt so hopeless and exhausted during my first trimester because the nausea was constant and kept me in bed. But right around week 14, it suddenly vanished and I finally felt like myself again. Hang in there, this tough phase will pass soon.
Usually, it starts to get much better after the 12th or 13th week. I found that doing extremely light walking in the morning helped settle my stomach, but only after my doctor allowed it. Keep sipping ginger water to manage the daily symptoms.
