Test came positive but my gynac said come for scan after some weeks. Im so impatient na, want to see something already. At what week does it actually show up clearly in ultrasound? anyone know?
Personally, my doctor called me at 7 weeks for the first dating scan and we could clearly see the tiny heartbeat then. Before 6 weeks, it is usually too small to show up properly on ultrasound.
It is such an emotional waiting period, I completely understand. Usually, they do the first viability scan around 6-7 weeks to see the heartbeat. Try to stay calm and gentle with yourself during these anxious days.
Don't panic if you go at 5 weeks and they only see an empty sac, it happened to me and I cried so much. By the 7th week, the heartbeat was beautifully visible. It is completely normal, just wait a bit.
