Im 34 weeks now and getting a bit impatient honestly. My gynac mentioned baby is head down but didnt say engaged yet. Around which week does the head usually engage? curious to know ur experiences.
Haan na it really differs person to person. Mine engaged quite late and I was worried, but doctor said its fine. Just trust your checkups, they keep track of it.
My gynac explained that in first pregnancy the baby's head often engages around 36 weeks onwards, but in second pregnancy it can happen later, even close to labour. She said its different for everyone so not to compare. They check it in the last few checkups by feeling the tummy.
For me the head engaged around 37 weeks and I started feeling more pressure down there and could breathe a bit easier. My doctor noted it in my file. It was kind of reassuring that body was getting ready.
