Im 9 weeks and the nausea is honestly killing me, cant even smell food without feeling sick. Just want to know when does this finally settle down. Please tell me it gets better soon yaar.
For most women, morning sickness gets much better by week 12 to 14. However, every body is different, so if it's severe or you can't keep fluids down, your gynac is the best person to advise on safe anti-nausea medication.
My mother used to give me dry ginger and lemon to sniff when I felt nauseous, which helped a bit. Usually, it settles down after the 3rd month, but if it is too much, please consult your doctor for relief.
I am planning to conceive and honestly so scared of morning sickness! Does it really stop after the first trimester, or does it drag on for months? Would love to know how you all managed.
Normally it goes away by the 4th month. Till then, keep dry crackers or biscuits on your bedside table and eat one before getting up. It's a simple, doable trick that really helps settle the stomach.
I totally understand how exhausting and draining this phase is, dear. For me, it finally stopped around week 14 and I could finally enjoy my food. Sending you so much love and strength, you are doing great.
Oh my god, I used to worry constantly because my nausea suddenly stopped in week 10, and I thought something was wrong! But actually, it is normal for it to fade out by the end of the first trimester. Don't stress like I did!
With both my kids, the vomiting stopped right around week 13. Just hang in there, it is a phase and it will pass. Eat small meals and don't let your stomach stay empty.
